How to use the kataifi Dough?

Allow Kataifi to thaw completely to room temperature in its packaging, before using (min. 2 hours for chilled Kataifi and min. 4 hours for frozen Kataifi). The Kataifi will be in a tight bundle when removed from the packet. Open out the bundle and begin separating the strands to “fluff up” and loosen. you need to be quite vigorous when handling Kataifi to get the best results. Pull away and rip handfuls of pastry as required, Any leftover Kataifi Pastry should be sealed tightly in a zip-lock bag or air tight container, in the fridge.

How to use the Frozen Kunafa?

Preheat oven to 200° C. Remove the kunafa from the freezer. Remove the lid and the prepared syrup. To thaw Wait for 12 minutes and place the kunafa in its plate in the oven or cook on stove.  Bake at 200° C for 5-10 minutes Aprox. or more depending on your oven, until slightly browned. Once baked, pour the prepared syrup located inside the packaging onto the hot kunafa.
